With continued efforts to improve convenience and access to care for patients and families, Stein Hospice is announcing its use of the Citus Health communications app. The implementation of this new platform will enable patients and loved ones to communicate quickly and seamlessly with their healthcare providers.
Functions of the app include messaging, as well as sending photos and attaching documents. “We always want our patients and their loved ones to feel that reaching out to their providers is easy. The capabilities of the Citus app will be a great help in achieving that. The ability to send photos and documents in a secure environment is going to enhance our quality of care, enabling our providers to aide patients more strategically before even reaching their homes,” said Yeong Bae, Executive Director of Stein Hospice.
Reduced patient access due to the current COVID-19 pandemic had a widespread impact on both patients and caregivers — resulting in rapid adoption of telemedicine technology. Stein Hospice is hopeful that the addition of this new technology, which is 100% HIPAA-secure and confidential, will increase our patient satisfaction across the board.
