Dear Residents, Clients, Family Members and Friends of the Wilf Campus,
As we prepare for what is traditionally a large gathering with friends and family, filled with lots of food, good times and laughs, we recognize that this year Thanksgiving may look a little different. COVID-19 infection rates are surging again in New Jersey, around the country and around the world. It has been, and continues to be, a very challenging year in so many ways. Yet this year has also reminded us of the truly important things in life. And although we may not have all of our loved ones around our Thanksgiving table this year, it is important to reflect on what we do have and what we are thankful for.
At the Wilf Campus for Senior Living, this Thanksgiving, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to:
- Our residents and clients. You are our greatest motivator and the reason we do what we do! You are all the most important part of our community!
- Our Wilf Campus families! We thank you for entrusting us with the care of your loved ones. Thank you for your partnership, your cooperation and patience during these trying times.
- Our staff, especially those at the front-line of this pandemic. We have the most hardworking, caring, compassionate and dedicated individuals taking care of our seniors. They continue to adjust to the changing regulations and guidelines and have put themselves in path of the virus to care for our beloved seniors. They do so simply because they truly care about each and every one of the seniors that are in our care. As we begin the holiday season, know that our staff is working diligently and coming up with new and innovative ways to brighten the season for our seniors.
- Our supporters – our board members, dedicated volunteers and donors. Your support – whether by giving of your time or monetary contributions – help us enhance valuable senior programs and services that benefit the Wilf Campus and seniors throughout central New Jersey.
It is thanks to all of you that even during these difficult times, we have been able to maintain our commitment, our standards, and the promise that we have made to care for the seniors in our community and to provide the highest level of care and service. We are going through challenging and difficult times, yet The Wilf Campus for Senior Living and each and every one of our agencies – Stein Assisted Living, Wilf At Home, Wilentz Senior Residence, Stein Hospice, and Wilf Transport – are dedicated to provide the best possible care for the most vulnerable in the face of this pandemic – our seniors.
Whether you spend the holiday with your loved ones in person, through Skype, FaceTime or Zoom, or by phone, we hope that you will find ways to show your loved ones how grateful you are for them this Thanksgiving. And remember that no matter how turbulent and difficult things may feel, there is always something to be thankful for. This Thanksgiving, we are thankful for you!
