McKenna joined the Oscar and Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living in July of 2019.

As the Director of Resident Engagement, McKenna develops, implements, and facilitates a diversity of programming that strives to meet each resident’s social, physical, cultural, spiritual, psychological, and cognitive needs. Her primary focus is to transfigure patterns of successful aging and improve the overall quality of life within the community.

McKenna attended Rutgers University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree. She has worked in assisted living communities for the past six years, in addition to serving as the Assistant Program Director for the Rutgers Center for Exercise and Aging. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Certified Water Safety Instructor. She has a strong passion for fitness and nutrition, in addition to teaching others about the importance of alternative therapies used to treat dementia.

Outside of work, McKenna enjoys spending time with her friends and family, taking care of her cats, and traveling.
