Margaret ‘Maggie’ Doyle Ball was drawn to nursing at an early age. She was a nurse’s aide in high school – but it took another 30 years to make the move to full-time nursing. Before becoming a registered nurse, she graduated from Rutgers College with a Business Administration degree, where she met her husband. She then completed the Gerontology Certificate at Rutgers School of Social Work and spent many years as a social worker in a long-term care facility, and then as a Jesuit volunteer in Jersey City.
Maggie became a nurse in 2005, choosing to work in hospice care as soon as she graduated from what was then the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Maggie and her husband live in Piscataway. She loves to bake, and to travel to visit her four children who are spread across the country.
