What they don’t realize is that the Will is the least important of the documents that people need as they age. Chelsea Lee Hanke, Esq and Tom Callahan, Director of Senior Living Resources of Archer Law Office, LLC will present a fun, interactive
program describing what a Power of Attorney is and the different forms of an Advanced Medical Directive. Light dinner will be served. The program is free, but registration is required.

Money Smart for Older Adults: How to Avoid Fraud & Scams
, presented by Bernie Sokal, MoneyCare Financial, LLC. Financial exploitation has been called the “crime of the 21st century,” with one study suggesting that older Americans lost at least $2.9 billion to financial exploitation in 2010 by a broad spectrum of perpetrators, including people they know and trust, as well as strangers. Cognitive impairment diminishes the ability of some older adults to make financial decisions and to detect fraud and scams. This seminar is designed to provide you with information and tips to help prevent common frauds, scams and other types of elder financial exploitation. Light dinner will be served. A free CEU program – Dementia Does Not Define Me, presented by Garland Law Group. This seminar will focus on the needs of those diagnosed with early stages of dementia. It will offer an overview of the different types of dementia and what caregivers need to know as they work with dementia patients/residents. We will utilizes real-life examples to bring the material to life. Breakfast will be served. Social Workers, RNs, CALA and LNHA will earn 2.0 Credit Hours.
