Anna Simmons has been employed at the Oscar & Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living for over 25 years. Her career at Wilf began at the nursing home, where she worked as a nurse in infection control and staff development. Her background in nursing and her love of quality assurance made her a natural fit as Executive Director of The Stein Assisted Living Residence. In this role, she oversees the daily operation of the 90-bed assisted living residence.
She has been a New Jersey-certified assisted living administrator since 2005. She received her American Nurses Credentials from the Center Board Certified Gerontology nurse. She has been certified by the Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, and has served as a certified assisted housing manager.
Anna’s personal mission is to make every day as good as it can be for every resident she serves. She is most proud of the care given by the talented team of dedicated professionals at The Stein Residence.
Anna enjoys spending time with friends and family and resides in Highland Park, NJ.
Director of Human Resources
Vicente (Vinnie) Torres was named the Director of Human Resources at the Oscar and Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living in the fall of 2016. A certified Human Resources Practitioner, his knowledge and skills stem from over 12 years of experience and excellence in human resource activities, most recently at Lewis Direct, Baltimore, MD, and Catholic Family and Community Services, Paterson, NJ. He has a proven track record in the areas of talent management, benefits and compensation, and team and leadership development, with the ability to quickly manage complex issues in a fair and efficient manner.
With his service-oriented personality and his creative approach to his position, Vinnie strives to build a dynamic environment where people take pride in their work, embrace the core values of the organization and share a commitment to the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Vinnie is thrilled to have joined the Wilf Campus for Senior Living and considers himself fortunate to be working for such an outstanding organization. He prides himself on ensuring that all employees feel respected, treated fairly, listened to and involved. “I feel strongly about building strong cultures, particularly when the end product is passionate employees,” he said.
Vinnie resides in Little Falls, NJ, and is a sports enthusiast, enjoying baseball, football and soccer. He served in the U.S. Navy where he was honored with numerous medals including the Navy Achievement Medal & Navy Commendation Medal, Joint Chiefs of Staff Achievement Medal & Joint Chiefs of Staff Commendation Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.
The Oscar & Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living in Somerset welcomed Awilda Perez of Union as its new Executive Director of Wilentz Senior Residence at the beginning of 2015.
For 18 years, Awilda gained professional experience within the affordable housing industry with a concentration in senior and multi-family housing. She was previously affiliated with the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA), PHS Senior Living, and Community Realty Management. She received the Excellence in Housing and Management Award from the NJHMFA. She also earned the following certifications through the Institute of Real Estate Management and National Center for Housing Management): ARM (Accredit Residential Manager) AHM (Assisted Housing Manager), COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist). She is also a certified credit compliance professional.
Awilda strongly believes in building and being part of strong work teams and being approachable to both staff and residents.
She enjoys camping, photography and travel. She resides in Union with her family and their loving dog, Buddy.
Director of Business Administration
The Oscar and Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living
Gayle Braunstein joined the staff at the Oscar & Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living in 2013. In her role as Manager of Business Administation , Gayle manages and maintains the daily operations of the Wilf Campus offices and works with the management team and board in areas that include marketing, chaplaincy services, finance, new program development, grant research and writing as well as fundraising.
Gayle holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management of Non Profit Organizations and Consumer Affairs from University of Maryland.
Gayle resides with her husband and children in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, where she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She is also involved in activities with her synagogue, Congregation B’nai Israel of Basking Ridge.
Since the Fall of 2005, Robert Barry has served as Finance Director for the Oscar & Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living. As such, he is responsible for all of the financial aspects of the Campus. Bob has a B.B.A. from Pace University and has worked in the non-profit arena for 28 years.
Bob lives in Edison and enjoys traveling and playing golf when he can.
Barbara joined the staff of the Oscar and Ella Wilf Campus in 2007. As Controller, she prepares financial statements and budgets for all Wilf Campus entities. She also oversees the overall day to day functions of the Finance Office at the Wilf Campus. Barbara prepares audit materials annually for all of our agencies and provides management staff with various financial and analysis reports regularly.
Prior to this position, Barbara was the Accounting Manager for Lift-All East, Inc. in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and a staff accountant at ParenteBeard, LLC Accountants & Consultants also in Pennsylvania. With over 30 years of experience in the accounting field, Barbara brings tremendous expertise to the management of our Wilf Campus Finance Office. She is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and loves working with numbers and financial reporting.
Barbara resides in Fogelsville, PA and loves to travel in her spare time.
Director of Marketing and Community Relations
Donna Oshri joined The Oscar and Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living in January 2018. As Director of Marketing and Community Relations, Donna markets and sells our exceptional community to outside referral sources, potential residents and other local resources. She establishes strategic marketing plans to guide marketing efforts to achieve Wilf Campus census objectives.
Donna is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a passion for building community and improving the quality of life for people. She has worked in the non-profit Jewish community for over 20 years and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and English from the Rutgers University School of Communications and a Master’s Degree in Corporate and Public Communications from Seton Hall University. She also completed a Digital Marketing Mini MBA program through the Rutgers Center for Management Development.
Donna lives in Springfield, New Jersey with her husband and their two children.
Rabbi Bryan Kinzbrunner came to the Wilf Campus in 2010 after serving as a hospice chaplain and bereavement services manager with VITAS Hospice for over four years.
He has lectured throughout New Jersey at nursing homes and adult facilities on Jewish end-of-life care issues, ranging from spiritual aspects of caring for Jewish families to the intricate medical ethic issues often faced. He has also lectured about community advocacy for Hospice and end-of-life care and challenges faced.
Rabbi Kinzbrunner attends Ahavas Achim, where he has had opportunity to teach many classes on Jewish Thought and Philosophy. He was ordained by Yeshiva University, where he also received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and master’s degree in Jewish Studies. A member of the National Association for Jewish Chaplains, he has lectured on issues of end-of-life care at their yearly conferences.
Rabbi Kinzbrunner resides in Highland Park, New Jersey with his wife Shira and their children.
Director of Dining Services
Brad Fassett was promoted to the position of the Director of Dining Services at the Oscar & Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living in the fall of 2014. Prior to that, he served as a production manager on campus for two and a half years.
Brad has been in the food service industry for 13 years, including positions at the Hilton Hotel and Monmouth Race Track. His training as a chef began on the job, where he enjoys creating new dishes and taking one ingredient and turning it into various entrees. His favorite dish to cook is chicken murphy.
Brad said he loves hearing the residents’ stories and working with members of the campus staff. He also enjoys the challenges of working in a Kosher kitchen, where the pace is mentally and physically challenging.
A lifelong resident of Sayreville, Brad attended Middlesex County College. He is engaged to be married in May of 2015, has a dog named Sparkey, and enjoys reading, television, and playing hockey, volleyball, and softball in his free time.
Director of Plant Operations
Bob possesses over 28 years of work experience as a facility director and manager of healthcare facilities, schools and hotels. He has served as a councilman and is currently a member of the planning board in Rocky Hill, New Jersey located within Somerset County, where he has resided for the last 28 years. Bob also served as a Sargent in the United States Army.
Bob hopes to bring a strong sense of “team” to the staff of Wilf Campus in order to further instill a feeling of ownership among the maintenance and housekeeping staff. He hopes to inspire dedication and enhance performance to better serve the community.
Bob enjoys working on and riding his motorcycle during his time off, as well as doing home improvements and tinkering around his house. He has two children and two cats.
