Social Service Coordinator
Marnie comes to us with over 15 years of experience working with older adults and families in the Jewish community. Familiar with various area agencies and community resources, she has worked as an Older Adult Intake Coordinator and Elder Care Social Worker and has had extensive training in working with older adults. Marnie earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Rutgers University and a master of social work degree from Fordham University.
Marnie looks forward to working with both individual and groups of residents of the Wilentz Residence. Marnie lives in Highland Park with her son and is an active member of Ahavas Achim Congregation. She enjoys spending time with friends, family and attending community events. She is a past regional Area Vice President of Hadassah Southern New Jersey Region and founded the young women’s group, L’Dor V’Dor of Raritan Valley. She was also involved with Hadassah National Young Women’s Face2Face Mission to Israel while sitting on the National Young Women’s Committee.
Marnie said that the best thing about working on the Wilf Campus is the kindness that goes into helping the residents from the staff, as well as the wealth of resources available to the residents and the residents’ strengths and abilities.
“I am looking forward to working with the residents, staff and communities of the Wilf Campus,” she said.
