Celebrating a Century: Harriet Krasky’s Remarkable 100th Birthday at Stein Assisted Living

At Stein Assisted Living, joy echoed through the halls as our community came together to celebrate the extraordinary life of Harriet Krasky, who recently marked the incredible milestone of turning 100. Born in Waterbury, Connecticut, Harriet’s journey has been one marked by love, happiness, and a commitment to being a kind soul.

Harriet Krasky has a simple yet profound philosophy for reaching the age of 100:

“Just try to be fair to everyone. Don’t show partiality and be a nice person!” Her wisdom, gained through a century of experiences, is a testament to the enduring power of kindness and fairness in building a rich and fulfilling life.

As memories were shared that shaped Harriet’s remarkable journey, it became clear that the love she shared with her late husband holds a very special place in her heart. Her eyes lit up with the warm glow of nostalgia as she shared stories of their life together.

“My favorite memory is being married to my husband. He was the love of my life,” she said smiling.

The birthday celebration for Harriet was a wonderful gathering of both family and friends, reflecting the vibrancy of her personality and the love she has spread throughout Stein Assisted Living. The dining room was adorned with decorations that mirrored the zest for life that Harriet radiates. Residents, staff, and family members gathered to share laughter, stories, and well-wishes for the woman of the hour.

In an intimate moment during the celebration, Harriet shared her hopes for the future.

“I don’t know what the year ahead has in store for me, but I wish for everyone in my life to be well and for them, a bright future,” she expressed with sincerity.

Harriet’s journey, marked by fairness, kindness, and a profound love, serves as an inspiration to us all. In the heart of Stein Assisted Living, we honor this centenarian and the legacy of positivity she has created. Here’s to Harriet and the continued joy she brings to the community she calls home!
