A story about Catalina Rosner, a Holocaust survivor who lives at Wilentz Residence, was recently published in The Courier News newspaper.
After reading Catalina’s story, Jennifer Ferguson, an eighth grade language arts teacher in Somerville, contacted The Wilf Campus to see if Catalina could visit her school and speak with her students.
Catalina was happy to do so because she feels it is important to share her story with younger generations and explain what she went through because hearing it from a first hand source is different than reading about the Holocaust in a book.
Jennifer reported that the students were very moved by all that Catalina shared that day.
