After careful consideration and discussion, you’ve decided it’s time for mom or dad to enter a senior-living community. But with various options offered, it can be hard to determine what will best fit your loved one’s needs.
Our staff at Stein Assisted Living can help you in making this decision. We understand how overwhelming and confusing this process can feel and we are dedicated to help make the transition into assisted living as easy and seamless as possible for our new residents and their families. With patience and compassion, we walk each family through our various accommodations, assisted living and memory care.
Assisted Living
Our assisted living accommodations allow residents to maintain their independence, while also offering seniors a little extra support in everyday activities. This includes assistance with medication management, dressing, showering, and transportation to medical appointments. Stein Assisted living also provides all meals in a restaurant style setting and religious, social and educational activities to fit all lifestyles.
You and your loved one can choose between studio, one-bedroom, or shared apartments. As part of The Wilf Campus community, Stein Assisted Living gives residents the freedom to maintain their own social lives and schedules in a safe, supportive environment. Seniors can also take advantage of our various amenities, including a health center, beauty salon, library, and outdoor courtyards—all at their own leisure.
Memory Care
The Jaffa Gate Memory Care Neighborhood, within Stein Assisted Living, is devoted to seniors with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. Your loved ones can choose between a private apartment or a shared unit.
We understand that it may be difficult caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Our specially-trained staff provides 24-hour aid and supervision in medication management, dressing, bathing, and necessary reminders, in an area designed to be comfortable, familiar, and accessible for seniors with memory impairments.
For example, all dining, recreation, visiting, and outdoor areas are fully enclosed in order to limit wandering and confusion. Staff members also lead activities developed to make life more enjoyable and fulfilling for seniors with mild or moderate memory loss.
Whether your loved one requires additional memory support or just needs a little extra help with every-day living, consider your options. The Stein Assisted Living Residence suits more independent seniors, while The Jaffa Gate focuses more on memory care. At Wilf Campus, rest assured that our staff will treat your family member with the respect and kindness he or she deserves.
