2024 Alexander Joseph Kaufman Author Lecture Series

The Foundation of Wilf Campus for Senior Living is pleased to announce the2024 Author Series Dates as part of the Alexander Joseph Kaufman Author Lecture Series.

The Alexander Joseph Kaufman Memorial Author Lecture Series is a program in which participants can hear directly from a variety of talented authors as they share their motivations and stories behind a selected body of work. The program is currently being presented virtually, via ZOOM.

The Kaufmans’ dedication was made in memory of Alexander Joseph Kaufman, Michael’s younger brother. Alexander was born in November 1959, the second son to Mary (Marika) and George (Tibi) Kaufman, both Holocaust survivors who hailed from Pápa, Hungary, which they escaped during the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. Sadly, at the age of six, Alexander developed a pediatric brain tumor and succumbed to the disease in 1966. “May this naming bring light to us all and may the Author Lecture series go from strength to strength, grow annually and bring joy and wisdom to people everywhere,” said Michael Kaufman.
