Marlene Galioto

Marlene Galioto
Executive Director

Marlene has been a part of the Wilentz Senior Living staff since 1996 and has more than 15 years' experience working with the senior population. In addition to her duties as executive director, she currently leads a specialized discussion group for Wilentz residents. Marlene holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trenton State College and certifications in aging services from the University of North Texas and in gerontology from Rutgers University.

Sharon Chesir

Sharon Chesir, MSW, LSW
Social Service Coordinator

Sharon joined the Wilentz Senior Living staff in 2007. As social services coordinator, she helps residents to age gracefully through assistance with social service programs, counseling and other issues. She also leads a book club for residents. Sharon received her bachelor's degree from Brooklyn College - CUNY and her master's degree in social work from Yeshiva University- Wurzweiler School of Social Work in 1991. She has more than 7 years' experience working exclusively with older adults and has worked for many Jewish agencies, including Jewish Family Services of Central New Jersey.

Olga Miccio

Olga Miccio
Congregate Coordinator

Since joining the Wilentz Senior Living staff in 2001, Olga has coordinated the state grant program that helps provide meals, housekeeping and personal care services to our tenants. She also leads a Spanish class for our residents.

Linda Raimondi

Linda Raimondi
Administrative Assistant

Linda joined the Wilentz Senior Living staff in 2006. As the coordinator of the application process, activities and the convenience store - and the leader of our walking club - she is often the first point of contact for new residents. Linda has more than 20 years' experience in the administrative field.

STEIN ASSISTED LIVING STAFF

Anna Simmons, RN, CIC, CALA
Executive Director

Anna has enjoyed working on The Wilf Campus for more than 18 years. She began her career at Wilf in the nursing home, working as a nurse in infection control and staff development. Her background in nursing and her love of quality assurance made her a natural fit as executive director of The Stein Assisted Living Residence. In this role, she oversees the daily operation of the 90-bed assisted living residence. Anna's personal mission is to make every day as good as it can be for every resident she serves. She is most proud of the care given by the talented team of dedicated professionals at The Stein Residence.

Toby Brown Ehrlich

Toby Brown Ehrlich, LCSW, ACSW
Director of Marketing

Toby is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience working with older adults and their families. As director of marketing at The Stein Residence, she informs the community about the options that The Wilf Campus offers. Toby also helps families to explore care options for their loved one. She truly enjoys working with older adults on The Wilf Campus. Toby earned a bachelor's degree from Hofstra University and a master's degree in social work with a certificate in gerontology from Rutgers University.

Tammy Mannon

Tammy Mannon, RN, BSN, LNHA
Director of Nursing

Tammy joined The Stein Residence in 2004 as director of nursing, bringing with her 15 years of nursing experience working in hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living residences. She graduated with honors from Seton Hall University and holds a nursing home administrator license. Tammy says, “Although my days are quite busy here, I love my job. Each day that I leave to go home, I know I have made a difference in some of the residents’ lives, and that’s what nursing is all about. I can’t think of anything I’d rather be doing.”

Phyllis Carter,LPN
Coordinator of Jaffa Gate Memory Care Neighborhood

After working for AT&T for 24 years, a career move to nursing in 1995.  I earned licensure as a LPN, one of the best decision I've made to date!  My nursing career began at Overlook Hospital, in Oncology, I've worked in various Doctor's offices, Rehabilitation and Long term Care.  Two years working for the Middlesex County Educational Services Commission with children with Autism, physical and mental delays, and behaviors.  Working at the Stein Assisted Living for the past 4 years is really like caring for a family member.  I developed many close relationships, not only with the residents, but with their families as well, while embracing the culture here.     

Brian Dorick

Brian Dorick
Director of Food Service for The Wilf Campus
District Manager for Nutrition Management

Brian is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and began his career as a private chef for the actress Mary Tyler Moore. Prior to joining The Wilf Campus staff, he held positions as food service director at a variety of locations including a New York City law firm and kosher assisted living residences in Clifton, New Jersey and other communities in the New Jersey area. He has also worked as a chef at a variety of restaurants at the Jersey shore. He is owner/operator of Epic Events, a New Jersey-based caterer.

Karen Natkow

Karen Natkow
Resident Services Coordinator

Karen joined the staff of The Stein Residence in 2004 after careers in the teaching and retail fields. In addition to working with the marketing department, she is the "problem-solver" for our residents, helping them to settle into their apartments, arranging medical transportation and generally trying to make their lives better. Karen is a graduate of Douglass College, Rutgers University.

Randi Rosen

Randi Rosen
Assistant Marketing Director

Randi is proud to say that she has happily participated in the growth of The Stein Residence since our doors first opened in May 2003. She has worked with seniors and their families for more than eight years as a nursing home social worker and admissions director. Randi holds a bachelor's degree in social work.

Jackie Kott

Jackie Kott
Director of Recreation

Jackie brings more than 18 years of experience in recreation to the activities program at The Stein Assisted Living Residence - as well as a great deal of enthusiasm and creativity! She is a graduate of Stockton State College.

Ralph Ratuszniak

Ralph Ratuszniak
Director of Maintenance

Ralph joined the staff of The Wilf Campus in 2002 and has 16 years' experience in the building management industry. He was born in Debica, Poland, where he graduated high school and attended technical college. He is currently pursuing a degree in business administration. A huge sports fan, Ralph loves rooting for the Jets and Mets and also enjoys good books, movies and traveling.

HOSPICE STAFF

Sally Ali CSW
Executive Director

Sally joined The Wilf Campus staff in 1998 as director of social services at the Jewish Home and Healthcare Center. In 2004, she was chosen by campus leaders to develop a new hospice program to serve the needs of Wilf Campus residents and the Middlesex and Somerset county Jewish communities. Sally is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is certified as a Level 1 hospice manager through the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Management Development Program.  In 2005, she was selected as Social Work Leader of the Year by the New Jersey Society of Social Work Leadership in Health Care, and is currently on the executive board of that organization.

Barbara Sorkin

Barbara Sorkin MA, BSN
Clinical Director

Barbara is a co-founder of the Stein Hospice, beginning her employment with Wilf Campus in December, 2004. She worked for 25 years as a marital/family therapist and holds a Masters degree in psychiatric art therapy from the University of Louisville. Barbara graduated from Rutgers University College of Nursing in 2000 and has worked both as an RN hospice case manager and director prior to coming to Wilf Campus. In her desire to have hospice care provided in the same manner she would for her own family members, Barbara has assembled what she considers the “dream team” of clinical hospice staff. Barbara currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the New Jersey Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.

Paula Krauser

Paula S. Krauser, MD, MA
Medical Director

An early proponent of the hospice movement in New Jersey, Dr. Krauser has been the Medical Director of the Martin and Edith Stein Hospice since its inception. She is a board certified family physician with added qualification in geriatrics. She earned a bachelor's degree from Douglass College and later entered the graduate program in psychology at Brandeis University under fellowship from the National Institute of Mental Health. After obtaining her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, she completed her residency at Overlook Hospital - Columbia College of Physician and Surgeons. Dr. Krauser worked with the New Jersey State Legislature as a Health Policy Fellow. Her special interests are women's health, integrative medicine, and end-of-life care.

Rabbi David Glicksman

Rabbi David Glicksman, BCC
Campus Chaplain

Before joining the staff of The Stein Hospice, Rabbi Glicksman was director of pastoral services at the Central New Jersey Jewish Home for the Aged in Somerset, NJ. He is board certified by the National Association of Jewish Chaplains and is a supervisor-in-training under the auspices of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He is a clinical member of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ASPE) and board certified by the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP). He is currently a member of the board of the National Association of Jewish Chaplains.

Fran Starr

Fran Starr, LCSW
Medical Social Worker

Prior to joining The Stein Hospice team, Fran was a Jewish communal social worker for 10 years. She acted as Director of Older Adult Services for the Jewish Family and Vocational Services of Northern Middlesex county. Fran received her Masters in Social Work from Adelphi University and is a licensed clinical social worker. She is associated with many spiritual and healing communities throughout the tri-state area.

 

Sara Culang

Sara Culang
Volunteer Coordinator/Community Relations

Sara joined The Martin and Edith Stein Hospice in 2005 as volunteer coordinator, later adding community outreach to her responsibilities in 2007. She is a Highland Park Temple-CAE Sisterhood Board Member and on the Board of Directors for the Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva in Edison. Prior to her work in hospice, Sara was a sales director for a book publishing company in New York City and worked in book sales for 15 years.

FOUNDATION STAFF

Peggy Mombert

Peggy Mombert
Executive Director

Peggy, a longtime Somerset resident, has led the Foundation of The Oscar and Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living for more than 25 years. Working closely with The Wilf Campus board of directors, she has planned and organized many fundraising events including golf outings, fashion shows and dinner dances. In 2007, one of her most successful events raised $20,000 toward the purchase of a bus to transport seniors to programs provided by the Jewish Family & Vocational Service of Middlesex County and the Jewish Community Center. The Foundation continues to pursue fundraising opportunities to support senior services on The Wilf Campus and throughout the wider community.
